This guide will help you set up and export the 6Arshid Social Community mobile app for all platforms.

📋 Requirements

1 Flutter SDK - Install Flutter

2 Android Studio / VS Code - With Flutter plugin

3 Xcode - For iOS (macOS only)

4 Firebase Account - For push notifications

🚀 Quick Setup

1 Open terminal in project folder

# Navigate to project folder
cd "path/to/wp-social-network-mobile-app"

2 Install dependencies

flutter pub get

3 Update website URL in lib/utils/constants.dart

// Change this to your WordPress site
static const String defaultUrl = 'https://your-wordpress-site.com';

4 Run the app

flutter run

📦 Export for All Platforms

Build APK or AAB for Google Play Store

iOS

Build IPA for Apple App Store

Windows

Build EXE for Windows desktop

Build APP for Mac App Store

Linux

Build DEB or RPM for Linux

🤖 Android Export

# Build APK (for direct install)
flutter build apk --release

# Build AAB (for Google Play Store)
flutter build appbundle --release

# Output location:
build/app/outputs/flutter-apk/app-release.apk

🍎 iOS Export

# Build iOS
flutter build ios --release

# Then open in Xcode to archive:
open ios/Runner.xcworkspace

# In Xcode: Product → Archive → Distribute App

🪟 Windows Export

# Build Windows desktop
flutter build windows --release

# Output location:
build/windows/x64/runner/Release/

💻 macOS Export

# Build macOS desktop
flutter build macos --release

# Output location:
build/macos/Build/Products/Release/

🐧 Linux Export

# Build Linux desktop
flutter build linux --release

# Output location:
build/linux/x64/release/bundle/

🔥 Firebase Setup (Optional)

1 Create project at Firebase Console

2 Add Android app - Package: com.sixarshid.social.social_community_app

3 Download google-services.json → place in android/app/

4 Add iOS app - Bundle ID: com.sixarshid.social.social_communityApp

5 Download GoogleService-Info.plist → place in ios/Runner/

💡 Tip: Firebase is only needed for push notifications. The app works without it.

🎨 Change App Icon

# Replace icon.png with your icon (1024x1024px)

# Generate icons for all platforms
dart run flutter_launcher_icons

# Clean and rebuild
flutter clean
flutter pub get
flutter run

🔧 Troubleshooting

⚠️ Common Issues:

Run flutter clean before rebuilding
Run flutter doctor to check setup
Ensure all Firebase config files are in correct locations
Check lib/utils/constants.dart for correct website URL
